EstatePy

Privacy

This page explains what data EstatePy keeps, why, and for how long. It is written in plain language and describes what the site actually does. It is not legal advice.

What we store

If you create an account we store your name, email and phone number. If you enquire about a listing, those same details and your message go to that listing's agent and stay in their contact list. We never sell or hand those details to anyone for advertising.

Cookies

We use two first-party cookies and no third-party ones. One keeps you signed in. The other identifies the browser so visits can be counted; only a hash of it is stored, never the cookie itself. There are no advertising cookies and no external trackers.

Browsing history

If you have enquired about a listing, the pages you look at afterwards are recorded and the agent you contacted can see them. That is what lets them understand what you are looking for before calling you back. Until you identify yourself, views are tied to the browser and to nobody.

Who we share it with

We work with three providers: an email service that sends sign-in links and notifications, a CDN that serves the site, and a machine-translation service that translates listing and article text. None of them receives your contact details for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Browsing history is deleted automatically after six months. Expired sessions and sign-in links delete themselves. Contact details stay for as long as the agent needs them. Write to us and we will delete your account and everything attached to it.

Questions, or want your account deleted? Write to us from the contact form on any listing.
