Verified agent

Nicola, Lexi & Valentina🇵🇾

This agent is verified. It means EstatePy checked who they are before their listings went live — not simply that they filled in a signup form. Below is exactly what that check involved.

How we check

  1. Identity and business record

We confirm the person is who they say they are, using government photo identification, and we check the business they trade under: that it is registered, that the name on the listings matches the name on the paperwork, and that the address and phone number actually reach them.

  2. Criminal record

We request a criminal record certificate from the Paraguayan authorities and read it. Having a record does not automatically rule someone out — a minor matter from a decade ago is not fraud — but anything involving fraud, theft, or dishonesty in a business context does.

  3. Interview

We talk to the agent, in person or on video, and not only about their paperwork. We ask how they price, how they handle a deposit, what happens when a sale falls through, and what they do when a client's expectation is unrealistic. The answers tell us more than any certificate can.

  4. Industry references

We ask around. The wider property community at ParaguayPulse.com is invited to say whether they know this person and whether they would deal with them again. It is the slowest part of the process and often the most useful: paperwork records what somebody was caught doing, and colleagues remember how they actually work.

What it does not mean

Being verified is not a guarantee about any particular property or any particular deal. We have not inspected the buildings, read the title deeds, or checked that a price is fair, and a verified agent is not our employee or our representative — they work for themselves. The badge says one thing: this is a real, identified, contactable person with a checked record, and we are willing to say so publicly. Always have the title deeds checked by your own notary.

How often we check again

The check is repeated every two years, and immediately if we receive a serious complaint. The badge can be withdrawn at any time, and it disappears from every page on the site the moment it is.

Something not right?

If something about this agent does not look right, we want to hear it. Write to us from the contact page, choose “Report a listing or an agent”, and say what happened. Reports about a verified agent are read first.
